Terms of use

Terms of use

Selera helps organise your health history and prepare for a conversation with your doctor. These are the terms for using the current beta.

Updated 10 October 2026

About the service

Selera is an app for your personal health history. It stores and organises documents and notes, shows changes in values and prepares doctor summaries. Selera was created by Yaroslav Tykhonchuk. Contact: hello@selera.health.

By using Selera, you agree to these terms. Processing health data requires separate consent in the app and is described on the privacy page.

Account and sign-in

Use an email address you can access. You can sign in with Google or an email link. In the current beta, email links are available to invited addresses and existing accounts.

Protect access to your email and Google account. Do not share sign-in links. If you suspect someone else has obtained access, write to hello@selera.health.

Documents and relatives’ records

Only add documents and information you have the right to use. A relative’s data requires their consent or lawful authority to act on their behalf. Granting access in the app does not replace that consent.

Check that you add each document to the right person’s record. Originals are kept unchanged. You can correct extracted data; personal notes are marked as self-reported.

Do not use Selera to access someone else’s data without permission, send unwanted messages or disrupt the service.

AI limitations

AI can misread a document, miss values or explain information inaccurately. A source link helps you check an answer but does not itself guarantee accuracy.

Check important facts against their originals. Selera does not provide medical consultations, diagnose or prescribe treatment. Discuss diagnosis, investigations and treatment changes with your doctor.

Selera is not an emergency service and does not monitor your condition in real time. In an emergency, contact your local emergency service.

Family and doctor access

Invited people can see and edit only the relatives’ records you share with them. The owner controls invitations and revoking access. Your own “Me” record remains private.

Anyone with an active summary link can open it without an account. Check the contents and recipient before sharing. Links expire and can be revoked. Copies already saved by the recipient remain with them.

Beta, payment and limits

All Selera features are free during the beta, including document extraction, AI explanations and doctor summaries. After the beta, Selera will use a freemium model: document storage and managing your health history will stay free, while AI features will be paid.

We will publish prices and terms before payments begin. Using the free beta does not constitute agreement to a paid subscription.

The beta may contain errors, temporary limits or interruptions. AI explanations currently allow 40 questions per user per day; cancelled and unsuccessful requests also count.

Keep important original medical documents in your own storage as well. Do not rely on uninterrupted availability of the beta.

Deletion and ending use

You can delete documents, notes and relatives’ records in the app. In the current beta, deletion of your own record and account is handled on request to hello@selera.health.

Saved summaries are separate snapshots: deleting a source document does not remove facts from them. Delete those summaries too if you no longer need them. Read about backups and retention on the privacy page.

Access may be restricted for attempts to obtain someone else’s data, disrupt the service or bypass its limits. If you believe a restriction is mistaken, write to us.

Changes and questions

Beta features and terms may change. This page shows its update date. We will communicate material changes affecting access, payment or data processing in the app or by email.

For questions about the service or these terms, write to hello@selera.health.
